I have received a few emails concerning the new cello and bass instrument procedures for this school year. I will also include procedures for violins and violas as well. The goal of the new procedures is to increase practice! We also want to keep our instruments in working order so that students may continue to use them each year. The students at Griffin are very fortunate to be able to use expensive instruments for free. The more one on one time students have for additional support for practice will make our students more successful at their instruments. I also want to make sure that proper care and maintenance is happening with our instruments. Practice is very important for all students to do outside of regular class time. Here are the practice and take home procedures for instruments this year.
Students who have their own personal instrument are expected to practice at home, but encouraged to take advantage of the Morning Orchestra and Afternoon Orchestra practice times. Morning Orchestra and Afternoon Orchestra Practice Times
